Anti-hero for hire guest thingy

You might recall me talking about a guest strip I did for AFH...

Well now it's up.

Also, I got some time to work on half a page of Sand Storm yesterday... Art still sucks though I'm trying to keep away from using the big zoom panels but I can't seem to do it, anyway hiatus should end once I get my school life straightened out...

On hiatus... But I guess you expected that...

Life has that way to catch up on you... Anyway I can't really focus on the comic anymore so it'll be back when I get more free time, and maybe art skills, yeah, art skills would be nice...
See ya all in a little while...

Live from Bonn, Germany

If you're wondering what's going on with Sand Storm right now I have to admit I haven't worked on it for about 3 weeks. Partly because I was busy getting ahead of work in school, but mostly because I'm touring across Europe with my familly! Right now I'm in Germany but this morning I was in Luxembourg, yesterday I was in Holland (Nederlands) and I spent last week in Belgium. Coming back to Canada on Sunday morning, then there will be lots of catching up with school, some more work at the restaurant and then the're will be some more Sand Storm. I'll also try to play that game Tristan lent me (.hack) and read the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy one more time... See ya later!

Scratch that. Sketch is ugly.

So yeah, after taking a little break from a two hour sketch session I realised how poor the sketching was and decided not to ink it (though it makes a great storyboard). I also realized that I don't want to keep up an update schedule I want to favor quality over quantity so if you don't see a comic on sunday night then that means you just saved yourself from a really crappy comic I know it sucks to read a comic with an irregular schedule (I read Mac Hall too) but still I want to stay away from crap (think of the last Math's World).

To conclude check out ZedC, I love it so much.

Sketch done. Comic, well, not quite.

I finished sketching the last three pages of chapter one so now all that's left is inking, grayscaling and speech bubbles. So It'll be up as soon as possible. Now, off to work.

Oh, yeah, I also started my driving lessons... :D

Work. Work, work, work. Work. (A busy week)

Well it seems the last year of High School is as busy as any other year. Don't believe the rumours, we ain't a bunch o' kids wasting their time, waiting one last year to have that darned diploma and get to college, we're actually taught some new things. So yah, we get a bunch o' homewoks wich suck in the time I used to take to produce (yes, "produce" not "draw" or "work on" but "produce" why? silly kids! 'coz it sounds nifty o' course) Sand Storm.

Actually, that's a lie, I actually got time to start "producing" page 14 but I keep being quite unsatisfied with the sketching (actually, the one sketch I really, really like got all torn up when I erased an unwanted line). Wich means there might not be an update this week (I bet you saw this coming, eh?) The other thing taking up my time is a guest comic I'm working on for Anti-Hero For Hire (too lazy to post the link but if you're reading Sand Storm I don't see why you wouldn't be reading AFH, It's on KeenSpot by the way) so if Mr. Mark accepts it (and more importantly if I finish it in time) you might see a little something from me on another site than MW. It's in colour tho, which means I'm working my ass off remembering how I used to color Math's World (yes, I do realize it's only been two months since I quit, but two month's a long time when you got a short attention span).

Well, see ya all later.

The good old Hockey game (Canada Vs. The World)

So the world hockey thingy started and Canada already won two games (both in montreal). Eh, If world conflicts would be dealt on the ice Canada would probably be leading the world right now (as opposed to blowing up our own seakings on our own destroyers).

Anyway, today I was wondering why ever since school restarted it feels so unreal and dreamish... I mean, it feels like school never really ended, we just got back and there we were talking about the same things we always talk about and continuing stuff we started last year, where's the fun in that?
Oh right, school ain't supposed to be fun...
